I think that dresses are the most easiest and stylish piece of attire that any woman can wear. An all in one outfit with no stress of finding coordinating individual clothing that comes together to make a full look. This dress is one of my favorites and it is no surprise that it is animal print. I like the thicker material that it is constructed with, which makes it great for Fall. I bought this dress at a local boutique (Work the Metal), but have linked similar ones below. I paired it with black booties, a black leather cross body, added some color with my sunnies and these cute earrings.

Guess Who’s Back
Guess who’s back, back again! I took a quick break from blogging to do some wedding and other business stuff but now I am back. The wedding is two weeks from today and I feel pretty calm about it, but ask me how I am doing in a week, lol! Anyway, fall is among us. Actually the first day of fall is my wedding day. So how are you transitioning to fall like weather? Me, with cute dresses and booties of course! Like in this outfit, it is perfect for those still warm afternoons and even cooler mornings and evenings. Booties are probably one of my favorite things about colder weather. I plan to add some new ones to my shoe closet this season, so stay tuned! What are you looking forward to this fall?

Motivated in Brooklyn
Last week I was living my NYC dreams. This city is by far one of my favorites. I always get the sense opportunities are endless there. As I looked out at the vast cityscape and the Brooklyn Bridge it excites me! The energy is there and the motivation is there. It reminds me to not sit on my dreams and help others to reach their’s too.

Bachelorette Party Dress
Next month I am preparing to head to my bachelorette party in one of my favorite cities, NYC, with a few of my best girls. I wanted to do something a little different. I have been to Vegas multiple times and knew I didn’t want to go there. I am not a huge beach person, so Miami was out of the question (not because I don’t like water or sand, but because I am allergic to the sun, which is a pain). I am a city girl and what is one of the the best cities in the world? NYC of course!
In anticipation of this upcoming weekend I am already planning out outfits to wear. The first one is this sequins dress, which is perfect for the party, and that is when I attend to wear it. This will be my going out dress. Comfortable, a statement in itself; it is a great dress for a night out on the town with the girls. I paired it with sliver heels and a red lip to give a little pop of color. Looking forward to sharing more of my NYC looks. Shop this one below!

White Dresses for Bridal Shower
If you are a bride you have to prepare yourself for all the bridal showers heading your way. It is an exciting time to say the least, but what do you wear? White of course! You definitely have to stand out as the bride. So let me suggest a dress. Right now is the perfect time to find one. This season there are so many stylish dresses. You should definitely stock up for the the multiple showers, bachelorette party, and rehearsal dinner.
The dress I have on in this post (which I have had for awhile) is perfect for a bridal shower. It is sleek, two-tone (but mostly white), and the perfect length. I added some color with this turquoise necklace and brick color lipstick and a bit of pattern with leopard heels. I finished the outfit with a taupe clutch, which with be on rotation all summer.

Picking the Perfect Dress w/ Modern Trousseau
Who wants to go wedding dress shopping with me?? Picking the perfect dress can be hard but when you know you know. That may sound cliche, but it’s the truth. I tried on about 10 dresses but kept coming back to a certain one, and in the end it was the dress! There are so many to choose from like A-line, Fit and Flare, Ball Gowns…. to fabrics like lace and silk organza. It is easy to get caught up in the mix and like them all, but this is where your bridal stylist/consultant comes in to help you find that perfect one. I found my one at Modern Trousseau Louisville.

The easiest way to select the dress is to have a budget and an idea in mind. Obviously a budget keeps you from over spending and trying on dresses that you will fall in love with and cannot afford. So save yourself and your bank account the stress. Skimming through bridal magazines and online can help you come up with a couple designs that you like. This can narrow down the amount of time you spend perusing through racks of dresses, and it will definitely cut down the number you try on. Honestly the more you try on the more it muddies the water in your mind of that perfect one.

The Perfect Belt
Perfect outfit, perfect belt! I can truly say accessories can make an outfit pop. This geometric fitted dress is great on its own, but when you add a belt with a legacy letter buckle (A for Alli of course) to compliment it, it pulls the whole thing together. I mean who doesn’t want their initials on their belt? (Find your legacy letter here). Further accessorizing this outfit was my main goal, as you can tell. Coming In Hot!!
With this weather, who doesn’t need a faux fur coat?? I mean it is perfect! This coat is from Baciano, if you have not checked them out, you should! They have some stylish on trend pieces for everyone, from dresses to jackets to sweater. This faux fur coat looks great with almost anything. I paired it here with a black Agnes & Dora dress and tan knee boots. Let’s not forget the accessories, which can make any outfit. Sunglasses, earrings (that give a pop of color), and a clutch that compliments the necklace perfectly (which was a gift from my future mother in law, all the way from Australia).
