Always a Dress Girl

                           Shop: Dress | Earrings | Sunglasses | Watch | Booties | Lipstick
I think that dresses are the most easiest and stylish piece of attire that any woman can wear. An all in one outfit with no stress of finding coordinating individual clothing that comes together to make a full look. This dress is one of my favorites and it is no surprise that it is animal print. I like the thicker material that it is constructed with, which makes it great for Fall. I bought this dress at a local boutique (Work the Metal), but have linked similar ones below. I paired it with black booties, a black leather cross body, added some color with my sunnies and these cute earrings.

All Around the Merry Go Round

Happy Monday! Where has the weekend gone?!? I feel like every weekend I have good intentions to get multiple thing accomplished, then I blink and it is Sunday night. Ugh! Does this happen to anyone one else? Time needs to slow down so I can get through my to do list.

Anyway, summer is almost over so I thought it was a perfect time to wear this Zaful two-piece floral short set. It is comfy and casual, great for a hot end of the season summer’s day. I accessorized with a tan wristlet, gold jewelry, and cheetah print flats. What are your end of the season favorites? Also, how awesome is this carousel (Jane’s Carousel) at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo? Amazing! A must when you visit NYC.

In the Arts

Happy Friday! It is actually feeling like Spring today for the first time, and I couldn’t be more excited! What about you? I am so over the cold and snowy weather. Now that it has warmed up, what do you wear? Well for me its leggings of course. I love the faux leather ones, which are great for Spring, considering that in the morning and evening the temperature maybe a littler more chillier. I styled the leggings with a black tank, which is perfect for that afternoon warmer temps. I paired the outfit with a tan moto jacket to give it a little color. Added a couple of accessories and wedges and I was good to go. What are you wearing today??

Pink is My Color

When you know your color, you know your color! I have always been a lover of hot pink and thought that it looked great on my skin tone, so that is why I had to embrace this super comfy and causal dress by Agnes & Dora. Pairing it with this navy vest made the bright pink color pop and these two colors together compliment each so well. During transition seasons and weather being unpredictable, over the knee boots are a must; which go great with this outfit. I always finish my outfits with some accessories: a pom pom necklace and a suede cross body pull it all together.

Coming In Hot!!

With this weather, who doesn’t need a faux fur coat?? I mean it is perfect! This coat is from Baciano, if you have not checked them out, you should! They have some stylish on trend pieces for everyone, from dresses to jackets to sweater. This faux fur coat looks great with almost anything. I paired it here with a black Agnes & Dora dress and tan knee boots. Let’s not forget the accessories, which can make any outfit. Sunglasses, earrings (that give a pop of color), and a clutch that compliments the necklace perfectly (which was a gift from my future mother in law, all the way from Australia). How would you wear a faux fur coat?

Standing on Top of a Mountain

I do not know about you but I think that every fall I need to get a new coat. So during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale in August I scooped up this collarless crepe topper. I paired it with white skinny jeans (yes you can wear white after Labor Day), a simple gray tee and gray booties, which are great for transitioning to cooler temperatures. I additionally accessorized this outfit  with a cute scarf that has skulls on it, bright earrings and necklace, and a cross body. A cross body is great for travel because it is easy to carry and more secure.

These pictures were taken while I was in Big Sky, Montana. If you have never been to Montana I recommend it. Big Sky, Montana is a ski resort village nestled on top of the Lone Peak Mountain and Mountain Village. If you are an avid skier, then I am sure you have been there, considering that Big Sky is known to be the biggest ski place in America. They have lots of activities for the non skier too. Check out their website to plan trip.

The Perfect Fall Outfit In Big Sky

Even though it doesn’t feel like it here in Kentucky, Thursday is the first day of Fall. It is still warm and humid! Ugh! But no fear it is coming and last week I got my first taste of it, while I was in Montana. Can you believe it even snowed?

If you have never been to Montana I recommend it. I visited Big Sky, Montana. It is a ski resort village nestled on top of the Lone Peak Mountain and Mountain Village. If you are an avid skier, then I am sure you have been there, considering that Big Sky is known to be the biggest ski place in America. They have lots of activities for the non skier too, more of that to come in future post. Check out their website to plan trip.
One thing I do suggest if you are planning on visiting Big Sky, bring warm clothes! This is not a joke! It snows in September, but it is beautiful. I combatted the 30-40 degree temps in this stylish fur vest, paired with a 3/4 length sleeve high/low tunic and white denim jeans. Yes you can wear white after labor. I finished the outfit with tan booties and a tan purse, followed by accessorizing it with a pop of turquoise in these earrings and necklace

Alli Travels: San Diego

Happy Tuesday All! A couple weeks ago I was in San Diego with my boyfriend. It was the first time I had visited that city, and I loved it. I could totally live there. The weather is typically nice and the views are beautiful, as you will see in my photos.

When I travel I like to dress comfortable. I love to wear maxi dresses because they are so easy. The one I have on is from last season, but I found some that I plan to add to my closet (here, here, and this one here). I also like jeans when I travel (the ones I have on below can be found here),  a cute pair of sandals (here and here), a good pair of sunnies (I like these here),  and a large tote to carry everything (my favorite is here). You can shop the rest of my looks below.

While in San Diego we visited the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier and Museum (website here). If you visit San Diego I definitely suggest you take a half a day and go on a tour, it is worth. Very historic and will make you appreciate the Navy even more. Check out some pictures from that tour below. Hope you enjoy!

Alli Travels: Coachella

Life is always an adventure. While in the Palm Desert my boyfriend and I took a few days and drove to San Diego and LA. Well since Siri said that there would be traffic the way we planned to go, she rerouted us (as she usually doe). She took us on some back roads and we were all kinds of confused and wondering where we were.

I am so glad that she did because we would not have gotten to see this beautiful view at Coachella Valley Vista Point.  Has this ever happened to you? Driving in the middle of nowhere and then something awesome happens? If you are ever in the Palm Desert it is worth the drive up to see. This instance reminded me that in life you have to sometimes go through the curvy back roads to get to something beautiful or to get to where you are suppose to be. Life Lessons!!

Anyway for a road trip outfit I like to be what I call the 3 C’s: casual, cute and comfy. This bodycon dress (similar here and here) with some Sperry’s (here and here) is my idea of comfortable. I paired them with my favorite sunnies (here, similar here) and leopard clutch (here). Finished it off with black dangle earrings (here), and a little arm candy (watch here, bracelet here, Fitbit here). Shop the rest of my look below. Hope you enjoy!
