Happy Makeup Monday!! Who is in the mood for some new matte lipstick?? I am always ready to try on a new lippie, especially if it is from Pixi Beauty. I have featured this brand on the blog and social media many times so there is no secret that I am a fan. They have great skincare and some amazing beauty products, all of which are affordable. Right now lipstick is my jam and I am loving Pixi’s MatteLast Liquid Lip. I like them because they are very pigmented, they have some great fall colors to choose from, and they do not dry your lips out. I did a couple swatches in my new YouTube video here. Check it out and let me know your favorite. Also, Pixi allowed me to create my own color so you can see me mixing it all together on the vlog.

Guess Who’s Back

Guess who’s back, back again! I took a quick break from blogging to do some wedding and other business stuff but now I am back. The wedding is two weeks from today and I feel pretty calm about it, but ask me how I am doing in a week, lol! Anyway, fall is among us. Actually the first day of fall is my wedding day. So how are you transitioning to fall like weather? Me, with cute dresses and booties of course! Like in this outfit, it is perfect for those still warm afternoons and even cooler mornings and evenings. Booties are probably one of my favorite things about colder weather. I plan to add some new ones to my shoe closet this season, so stay tuned! What are you looking forward to this fall?

Seeing Red

Happy Independence Day America!! I thought this red dress was fitting for the holiday. What are your plans on this patriot day? Mine going to a pool party and cleaning, blah to the cleaning but it has to be done.

Front tie dresses have been very popular this summer and this one for me didn’t disappoint. The color,  the fit and the movement are perfect. It is light and flowy, great for a hot summer’s day. I paired it with large gold chandelier earrings, wedges, a red lip and a straw handbag. And how cute is this hammered copper cuff? Accessories can definitely help make an outfit.

Happy Makeup Monday!! Have you tried the new Urban Decay Born to Run Collection?? I had the opportunity to try it this weekend and I love the eyeshadow palette. It is complete with mattes, metallics and shimmers; as well as a wide variety of colors. So there is basically something for everyone. Summer, Summer, Summertime

Happy Saturday and Happy Memorial Day Weekend. Who is already for it to officially be summer? Not that it doesn’t already feel like it. In the summer wearing dresses is my thing because they are so simple and easy, especially when it is extremely hot and humid outside. I am a fan of dresses that are airy and light, like this one dress in the post. It is super comfy and great for many occasions, such as work, date night and a get together with friends. I mean it is even appropriate to wear to church, it’s that versatile. Another reason I love this dress is because of the colors, pastels and neutrals. My summer accessories are a simple necklace, some hoops and sunglasses are a must. What is your favorite thing to wear this summer?

Transitioning to Spring with Pattern and Color

Some days it might not feel like it, especially with this crazy snow, but the first day of Spring is literally around the corner. I am looking forward to warmer weather and bright colors as you can see from my outfit. This Spring I am all about the bold solids and leopard anything. In my book leopard will always be a neutral, and this blouse compliments almost any bold color you can find. For this outfit I paired a yellow blazer with cream and gold details, with this leopard blouse. If that was not enough pattern and color I added a pop of red with a clutch and lipstick. Finishing the look with black leggings and spiked heels. This will definitively be a go to for the warmer weather. What does you Spring outfit look like? Shop mine below.

Wifey to Be

Wifey to be….that’s me! Wedding prep is definitely underway and September will be here before you know it. Planning on doing a monthly wedding update here on the blog starting in February. So stay tuned!! Now on to this post…

Freezing temperatures and snow covered ground. Who is ready for spring? I have had my fix of the cold and I am almost ready to see it go. Although I do love cold weather clothing, this getting up and wondering if the roads are drivable is not idea. Anyway, I am loving this outfit I have on in this post. My puffy vest collection has been on full rotation during the cold months. I paired this one with leggings that have leather accents, my black wifey sweatshirt (which is most important), a leopard print scarf and tank, and ducks boots (which I am truly thankful for in this weather). Lace is Always A Good Thing

It’s officially 2018, which potentially could be the best year yet.  Who has their goals set and their whole year worked out? Me, I have a lot of planning to do this year. This includes a wedding, building my many businesses, and planning the future with Mr. Yates 🙂
